What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Ever since 5.0-18920, the virtual gamepad on LG dual screen phones is no longer being detected properly by Dolphin.

Here's my LG G8x running SSBM with the virtual gamepad showing.

The controls settings in 5.0-18881 shows the buttons and axes detected properly.

The gamepad works with the game and I can control the character.

However, since 5.0-18920, the buttons are no longer detected properly, pressing a button to assign it is not responsive.

The only thing that does seem to be working properly is the virtual left stick. The right stick is not detected properly.

I've made sure the correct virtualJoystick device for the device selection, but I've also tried with the "Create Mappings for Other Devices" box ticked.

The really odd thing is, the virtual gamepad works with the UI for the emulator itself. I can navigate the settings menus using the virtual joysticks, A and B buttons. But when trying to assign the buttons, they don't work.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Attempt to assign virtual gamepad buttons to Dolphin's button mappings on an LG dual screen phone.

On Android in either Pokémon game, when you push the onscreen left stick to its maximum "Down" range, the game acts as though you're pushing "Up" on the stick instead. I'm not seeing this on Windows in either game, nor am I noticing this in SSBM on Android. Something about these games doesn't like the inputs coming from the onscreen joystick. Seems like an integer overflow.

When Dolphin is given a path to search for playable games in the "Game Folders" option, it lists all found games in the main window. However, in version 5.0-7106, games will not show up in the list unless the file extension is all lowercase. For example, if your files end in ".GCM" rather than ".gcm" or ".WAD" rather than ".wad", they will not show up in the game list.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Rename any game ROM files to have a capitalized file extension, close Dolphin (if it is running) and open Dolphin again. You won't find the game in the list anymore.

When I open Dolphin, the only game in the list is Donkey Kong Country Returns. I have several dozen ISOs, including both Wii and GameCube games. When I remove DKCR from my ISO directory, it then says there are no games at all.

What did you expect to happen instead?
I expect to see all the ISOs I have listed as before.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Set ISO directory to the proper directory.

Open Dolphin

Look at ROM list

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
I have narrowed the issue down to first occurring between 4.0-6502 and 4.0-6512, with the merge of pull request 1556. It persists up to and including 4.0-6632. There are no builds between these revisions available on the dolphin-emu.org downloads page. It's very strange, though, because that PR has almost nothing to do with the UI.

As a (kind of crappy) workaround, games can still be run through File -> Open.

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Yes, it works as expected in 4.0-6502.

System, CPU and GPU)
Not sure how it's relevant, but:

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
Here is a screenshot of these two revisions of Dolphin running side-by-side. There is no change in configuration between the two, and they are both pointed to the same directory.

Okay, so the keys are 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and they toggle "certain options," Which options? Hotkeys should never be ambiguous, I don't know if I want to use this or not since it's never stated anywhere what they do.

What's the problem?

What's the problem?
In the post-processing shaders list (for OpenGL backend) a couple things that obviously aren't shaders show up in the list. For example, the README file and a .svn folder (if you check out the shaders repository separately). These are obviously never going to be actual shaders and can probably be explicitly excluded from the shaders list.

What's the problem?
Since r7167 you can define specific video settings for specific games, which is great. However, for many games, it really doesn't matter what many settings are set to, so it's just a matter of user preference (Anisotropic Filtering and AntiAliasing come to mind). I understand that to defer to the default setting you can just leave the setting out of the INI file. However, in the GUI it can be hard to tell whether you're deferring to default, or if you've explicitly put "ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE THIS" in the game's INI file. There ought to be a way to explicitly show you are currently using the default setting from the "(Default)" configuration profile.

What's the problem?
Problem? This is an enhancement suggestion, that's the problem.

In many programs (including Windows Explorer) you can right-click the columns at the top of a detailed list to select what criteria can be shown or hidden. This kind of bullshit is hard to explain so I took a quick screenshot.

http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=xi5p8voz2d9gz3v&thumb=5

How would this be useful in Dolphin? If columns could be added for things like path or game ID or even by full name (rather than only showing the Short Name) it could simplify things in terms of GUI usability (especially if you could sort using specified columns).

Also, upon closing/opening the program the gamelist is reset. Why doesn't it remember your previous column sizing/sorting for your last use? It's very annoying.
