Description
Game Name?
1,000,000 Dollar Pyramid - SP3E41
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
I have the U.S. version of the game, and ripped my U.S. NAND from my Wii. That's great, right? Well, Dolphin can't use the sysconf from my Wii, so I deleted it and Dolphin generated its own. Fine. But it also generates a country, namely switzerland! This game actually checks the country name for which Wiimote Strap Screen it loads. So, if I'm set to Switzerland, my U.S. disc tries to load the eu_en strap screen, and since that's not included on the U.S. version, it crashes!
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Load this game on a generated Wii NAND in Dolphin.
To fix it, install whatever you need to get the system menu booting, and change your country to a NTSC one.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
5.0-2224
