Emulator Issues #10162
closedCannot type window text fields in macOS builds

Description
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Typing in text fields does not seem to work for me in the latest macOS builds. For instance, the fields in the Netplay window (such as the Nickname, Host Code, or chat fields) do not seem to work in the macOS builds, but function correctly in the Windows ones. You can paste text inside these fields, but you cannot type anything in them. Another field that is affected is the Latency field under the Audio tab in the Dolphin Configuration window. This issue was encountered with two separate people using the same version of Dolphin on the same operating system.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.) Open Dolphin on macOS Sierra 10.12.3 (using Dolphin 5.0-3063 from the build bot).
2.) Go to Tools -> Start Netplay...
3.) With the keyboard, type something in either the Nickname or Host Code fields. It will not register any input.
4.) Highlight a piece of text, then copy and paste into the field. While the field itself will still not register and input from the keyboard, you can replace the text by highlighting the text inside the field and paste over it with something else.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
Dolphin 5.0-3063
I haven't tested an older version of Dolphin yet, but I believe this was working before.
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
MacBook Pro (Late 2013 model)
Intel Core i5 (2.4 GHz)
Intel Iris GPU (integrated)
MacOS Sierra 10.12.3
8gb of RAM
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
This issue was encountered by two separate people running macOS while also using the latest builds from the build bot on the website. These issues do not happen on the Windows builds. I don't know if they happen on Linux.
