What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

When finishing Frame Dump while Playing TAS input, I close Dolphin and try to view or edited the video files, Trying to view them in Windows Media Player says it can't be read, and Sony Vegas says unknown codec.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Dump Frames and Audio while playing input recording
  2. Finish Recording whenever
  3. Try to View Video

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

Its worth Mentioning that it never gave me an option to select what codec I want, and when I first tried to dump frames, their was no frames folder in the documents section of Dolphin

Instead of closing Dolphin, pause the emulator, turn off video/audio dumping, then unpause the emulator, then close the window.

This doesn't sound like Dolphin "doesn't output a codec", it sounds more like your video player/editor doesn't support the codec Dolphin uses.

If you want to, you can try switching between the two codecs Dolphin supports with the setting Graphics > Advanced > Frame Dumps Use FFV1.
