Another test more audible with Xenoblade Chronicle. We can clearly heard artefact from 20sec with audio stretch activate :

I'd describe that recording more as that there's quiet, yet audible pops in the audio. Would probably get annoying fast.

I'd assign this to Merry, but, she's not on the issue tracker.

Have you tried all the different audio backends to see if it happens in all of them?

Yes, I have tried all backend (cubeb too) and any value of lattence fix the problem :/
It happens all the time in all games.

I'm able to duplicate this in Xenoblade on Linux w/ the Pulse backend. Seems to primarily impact the music, I couldn't tell any difference in voices and effects. Disabling Audio Stretching fixes it for me as well.

I'm trying to fix this problem at the moment. Just making sure no one else is also working on it?
