In Nicktoons: Battle For Volcano Island, any "movies", meaning cutscenes that aren't made using the entities, but rather shown in a way similar to viewing a mp4, will not show, however the sound from them will be heard. It will instead display whatever frame was last shown until that movie ends. Examples of these movies are the majority of the startup logos, the cutscenes that display at the beginning and end of most levels, and the trailers in "extras".
To reproduce it, you need to:
- Launch the game
- Notice how the logos don't display.
- Start a new game
- Notice that the first two cutscenes will just be black screens.
I tested this on Dolphin 5.0. I didn't test it on any other version.
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 15063)
Dell Laptop, Precision M4600
Intel Core i7-2720QM CPU @ 2.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
NVIDIA Quadro 1000M & Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Dolphin is set to use the NVIDIA card)
8192MB RAM
I'm in a community of people who play this game, and all of them who are using Dolphin to speedrun it say that they also cannot see the cutscenes.

Try enabling real XFB. If that doesn't work, try turning off some other hacks in the hacks tab of the graphics settings.
