Description

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

The message "Dolphin could not find any GameCube/Wii ISOs or WADs. Double-click here to set a games directory..." is not displayed by DolphinWX when no games were found.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Start Dolphin without having any ISO directories set. (A simple way to do this is to have a clean user directory, for instance by using portable.txt.)

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

5.0-4502 works, 5.0-4504 doesn't: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/7d60f03acb6efe99e5daecdf3cb410d3d6a8961e/

For the reference, this was already an issue on Linux even before the gamelist speedup PR. In some cases, if Dolphin lost focus while showing the game list, then it wouldn't show up at all. This could be worked around by forcing the UI to update (for example by pressing the Refresh or Show PC buttons). With the speedup PR, Refresh doesn't work anymore as a workaround.
