What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
I went to purify the Shadow Aipom. It proceeded to hurt my ears.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Well, I had just caught the last Shadow Pokémon in the game. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary happened. In fact, reproducing this bug has been really inconsistent. To the point of it really only happening twice. Though I just thought you guys should know about it in case this gives you a lead.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
5.0-5707
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
I dunno. Do I really gotta find out...?
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
It's not consistent enough for that method. If I must, however...
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
Windows 7 x64 (SP1)
nVidia GeForce GTX 760 (Gigabyte GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0)
Intel Core i7-4770
8GB G.Skill Sniper Low Voltage edition
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
I got it to happen exactly once after I initially found the bug. Although it may sound like I'm just messing with you and clipping the audio, why would I waste your time like that?

Also, have a Save State. Bask in my Pokéballs only method.

Also, if the Save State looks weird, it's because I'm using the latest 16:9 code from the forums.

You'll have to reproduce this issue without gecko codes and without dualcore before I give it much of a look. If that still happens, then you'll want to try something like LLE audio too. There needs to be more settings tested, and the bug may be embedded into the savestate so you'll need to find a more consistent way to trigger it so that we can find out what's going wrong where if it's not a settings issue.

Okay. No widescreen it is. I haven't used dual core in about a year or two ever since you've made it clear that it's more prone to bugs.
I probably should have mentioned the audio settings, silly me. LLE Recompiler with the Cubeb backend.
Note that I provided the savestate so that you guys could test it easier without any need for me to send over my whole save file. Using savestates willy nilly leads to inconsistencies with the game's save system, so it might not save correctly afterwards. Due to that, I never use them. Meaning this isn't a savestate issue.

Depending on how easy it is to trigger this issue, we may be able to narrow it down. If it's really hard... that'll be difficult to do. Confirming it happens with no cheats would be a great start though!

- Status changed from New to Invalid
Due to the lack of an ability to track down what causes this, I'm closing the issue. I played through colosseum a while back and didn't run into it once...
