Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
5.0-5931
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
No, 5.0
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
Haven't bisected yet, but it started happening recently.
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
Pentium G4560, 16GB 2400MHz ram, GTX780 non-ti, 256GB Samsung Evo 960 Pro m.2 nVME
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
After finishing the song the game keeps spamming the log with the following warning:
43:09:928 IOS\Network\Socket.cpp:121 E[IOS_NET]: SO_RECVFROM failed with error 10035: A non-blocking socket operation could not be completed immediately. , ret= -1
I saw a thread on the forum that was mentioning the same issue in GH - World Tour. I will be testing all other GH's to see which version have this issue (my guess is all GH's released after World Tour since they use the same engine)

As I expected it happens for all GH's made after GH World tour as well. So that makes: Band Hero, Guitar Hero - World Tour, Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero - Warriors of Rock, Guitar Hero - Metallica, Guitar Hero - Smash Hits / Greatest Hits and Guitar Hero - Van Halen.

Could you please bisect and figure out which version changed Dolphin's behaviour?
Updated by mstreurman about 7 years ago
Of course, it's just that I have been very busy. Bisect will come very soon.

Still haven't found time to do the bisect. It does seem that there is no issue with a "real" NAND as stated by themanuel here: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-wiki-edit-or-default-ini-request-for-all-guitar-hero-and-rock-band-games
I am currently using a Dolphin generated NAND since my real one got broken and I don't have access to my Wii since I'm living in a different country as my Wii (it is in my Mom's place).

To add to this report, I can confirm that this happens to me with Guitar Hero 5 with a real NAND with working clientca.pem, clientcakey.pem and rootca.pem files. I even tired with an original save file from my Wii just in case, but same result. It does not happen with Guitar Hero: Metallica on my system.

More info: it does not happen to me on GHIII, GH Smash Hits, World Tour or Warriors of Rock but it does happen on Band Hero.
So for me, the ones that hang are GH5 and Band Hero.

This issue can be closed, I just tried again on the latest version of Dolphin (5.0-7307) and I can play songs without any issue now, last week before the NAND/FS changes it still didn't work.
