Description

It is impossible to play any Gamecube games on Android anymore because an update pushed the controls so far off screen that you can't use them, and there's no way to move them back on screen. An option to move the controls to the default position would be the best solution.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I think it happened because I changed the position of the controls manually, then updated later and the update moved them much farther away.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

5.0-5947 for Android

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version?

I'm unable to test what the first with the issue is because the issue remained present when I reverted to a later version of the emulator that previously worked.

What are yourspecifications?

Galaxy Note 5, Android 7.0 (Nougat)

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue?

The issue occurred somewhere between the Oct. 27 and Nov. 27 versions of the emulator

I don't know why an update to Dolphin would make the buttons go off-screen like that... But yeah, an option to reset the controls has been suggested a few times and makes sense in my opinion. (Especially if we could make the default layout a sensible layout rather than putting everything in a corner :))

I already requested to a thing to start the buttons in the center instead of a corner.

This bug doesn't happen on my phone though, so, not sure what's going on here.

Same for me (master 5.0-6033 and versions before), but in my case all the onscreen controls are piled on top of each other. See example in the attachment.

That's expected. Those are the default positions for the buttons – you have to move them to where you want to have them before you'll be able to use them well. Not great design, but that's how it is for now...
