Crashing on Game Startup - Android 8.1

Description
Games crash when started up on my Pixel 2 XL. I suspect the latest Android 8.1 update.
Game Name?
Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic Adventure DX and Super Monkey Ball were tested.
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Upon opening a game, the screen goes black for a few seconds and displays nothing but the on-screen controls. After about 3-5 seconds, the app crashes with the message "Dolphin Emulator has stopped working".
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Opening up any game from the Dolphin android app.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Yes, it is present in the current android-supporting version of Dolphin, 5.0-6018.

Have you tried using the software renderer? It'll run really slow, but, if it runs then we know it's the GPU drivers.
