What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
The game freezes on a loading screen in chapter 2 (after finishing chowders first part). also tried playing with dual core disabled, the loading screen freeze didn't appear but later crashed when entering a fireplace.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
not really any steps, just playing normally. like i said above the load screen doesn't appear if dual core is disabled.

This was an issue discussed on the most recent blog.
This should be fixed now (haven't confirmed personally though):
