closed"Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes" Control issue
0%
Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Load metal gear solid iso on version x86 (won't work on x64)
2.Say "YES" and "accept" to the zillon errors it will be shown
3.Eventually you will get into game. Try moving a little and see snake do
the "dumb" walk or pressing buttons (for example Crawl button "X" by
default or keep "B" pressed)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The problem is that the controller reacts as if EVERY single key, pad and
stick had an autofire activated (if you move it will move as if you where
rapiddly taping the stick or the the digital pad, and if you press a button
it will act as if you where rapidly pressing it)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r2811 x86 r3216 x86 r3286 x86 r3404 x86 (slower on r3404)
Intel(R) Core2Duo 2.53 2gb
GeForce 8400 gt 512
windows vista ultimate 64bits
Please provide any additional information below.
Issue happens with boot pluggins
"Dolphin KB/X360pad and nJoy (any version) by falcon4ever"
Other curiosity is that with an older OpenGL pluggin (like the one in
version r2811) the game has no errors to acces (you dont have to press yes
a zillon of times since no warning is shown) BUT the game will have severe
graphical problems and will hang once you get in game.
ALSO: this very same issue happens on the game "Tatsunoko vs Capcom" Tough
in this game it seems to happen randomly (some times the game responds fine
sometimes it just screws up as if every key have autofire)

Wanna hear something funny?
Trying to isolate the problem i noticed that b4 loading the iso if you go to the
control pluggin, unselect the "Controller Attached" box then RE-selecting it, loading
the iso, going in game, stop the emulation via "Emulation/Stop" (Without closing the
emulator) then reloading the iso
this issue gets fixed and the game controls works as they should work...
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird Oo
This works for booth pluggins

Dupe of 574 which remains unfixed, even when marked fixed.
To skip panics, simply disable them. (Use Panic Handlers off)

What you say actually fixes the controller bug.
