Description

Game Name?

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

Game ID?

G2OE41

MD5 Hash?

dce5a1a75982905554d9d465a743ff3b (confirmed with redump)

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

There's two separate audio problems. The first is, on all the screens that appears when you unlock a new ability, if you idle on the screen instead of immediately mashing through it, the sound will stutter as it fades out. The second is that there's a particular cutscene (the one where you're first told where the Sands of Time are being created) where the dialogue drops out partway through. Neither seems to be affected by LLE or single core. I've linked a video showcasing both problems.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I've attached a save. Load the file that's at "A Helping Hand", then just walk into the center of the room where the strange symbol is on the floor. Then watch the cutscene and the ability unlock immediately after it, and listen to the audio problems.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes, 5.0-6229.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

Yes, both issues are present in 5.0.

What are your PC specifications?

Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

Here's a video showcasing the audio problems, starting around 3:15 in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zfdn0inqvqk

Have you played the game on console to make sure these aren't game bugs? Ubisoft is very, very, very, very, very, very, very likely to have fucked up a few things here and there on their games.
