What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

The Dual Core Setting in the GameINI is ignored when starting a game from the Wii Menu.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Activate the global Dual Core Setting.
  2. In the GameINI of a game (for example, Wii Play), set the Dual Core Setting to "False".
  3. Start the Wii Menu
  4. Insert the virtual "Wii Play" disc.
  5. Select "Start".
  6. If the game asks you to select a Mii, select "Guest".

The Mii faces of these Miis are not displayed correctly despite the disabled Dual Core Setting. This does not happen if the game is started directly using the game list.
