Motion Plus Issue

Description
I have two Wiimotes
a red one with wii motion plus integrated and another one (original nintendo (white)) with a motion plus extension.
The issue is as followed :
is the red one the first connected the motion plus games will say that both wiimotes are connected and ok but on the next screen it says that there is an external controller is attached to the no one controller but whatever i do it still says there is one connected.
If the wiimotes are connected the other way (the red one is the second connected) it will not recognize the first (white) as motion plus controller even if the motion plus attachment is connected.
I tryed any combintion of first and second wiimote .. theres allways an issue.
BUT i had it running once when i played WII Play Motion Stone Skipping with my son. But never got it running again because of the "an external controller is attached (please remove it)" issue

The pronblem is reproducable
If the white one is the first connected it wont work at all. (at first when the game (wii play motion) starts it works until I press A&B together then it does not work.
However I connect the both Wiimotes i can´t get the both to work. The one way it says that an external something is connected and should beremoved (but there isnt) or the first white controller with the motion plus extension is not working.
