What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Real Wii Remotes don't reconnect when using Gecko OS or Minima Launcher. On a real Wii, the real Wii remotes disconnect when loading codes but connection is restored afterwards. Project M Launcher does not have this problem (requires LLE to avoid #10791).
What steps will reproduce the problem?
First time Brawl Mod prep:
- Install IOS 21 (for Masterpiece Games) and 36 (for Gecko OS)
- Download the "SDHC Nov 14" version from https://www.mediafire.com/folder/aggpdsl4ac2yv/Smash_Bros_Infinite_V_3.0_(11.11.2016)
- Extract contents and place them in a virtual SDHC card.
- Set Brawl as Default ISO
- Obtain latest versions of launchers.
To reproduce the problem:
- Set player 1 to GameCube standard controller and player 2 to real wii remote
- Launch Brawl through Gecko OS or Minima Launcher.
- Observe that real Wii remotes are unresponsive after loading codes.

I suspect this is due to unknown opcodes now. The attached dump occurred while trying to load codes through GeckoOS. I also recently re-installed my NAND dump to make sure old problems don't complicate bug reporting. I don't know how to tell if they're related to the unimplemented libogc ucodes though.
