What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

When you have to shake wiimote and nunchuk repeatedly (eating the bananas at the end of a level, boss fights, etc.), it doesn't work. Sometimes it works, but it's either extremely precise (like, 100x more than the base game) or completely random. In 4.0.2 you could just bind one button to shake x, y and z on the wiimote and nunchuk, and all you needed to do was hold it down and both would shake repeatedly, but for some reason that doesn't work anymore.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Going to a section where you need to shake repeatedly. The easiest way to do this is to go up to the big pig in the first level.

The wiimote works fine, it's just the nunchuk.
