Description
Game:
Super Mario Sunshine
ID:
GMSE01
MD5:

(I'm using a GCZ (compressed) file, the hash may be different for that reason)
Description:
The green goo in Bowser's hot tub during the final boss fight is not rendering. It can be interacted with (as in, jumping in hurts you), but it is invisible.
Steps:
Getting to the end of Corona Mountain and facing Bowser.
Issue in latest dev:
Yes, the latest being v5.0-7611
Issue in latest stable:
I have not checked the latest stable version, let me know if that is needed.
First broken version:
The version that broke the effect is v5.0-7554. The last working version is 7545.
Logs/Screenshots:
Here is a link to a compressed archive of a number of files.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_8VVA54Z1HnRyuuL6TK5QB4uIFhoK8OA/view?usp=sharing
This includes...
Two fifo logs, one of the broken effect, and one of the working effect, taken on the first to break and the last working versions respectively.
Six screenshots, three of the broken effect, three of the effect working properly.
And a save state of right before you face the final boss. All you have to do is hold down the right shoulder trigger and skip the cut-scene to get to where you need to.
PC Specs:
x64 Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (v1607)
Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.50Ghz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 (driver 390.65)
16GB DDR3
Anything else:
One other user on the forums was able to confirm that the effect isn't working.

Here is also a video of what the effect should look like.

I'm guessing it was something merged while the builds were broken.

Huh, looks like it's been fixed during an update since! That was quick. Might have happened when solving a different bug.

I experienced this issue on Dolphin 5.0-12665, using the Vulkan backend. I save-stated and loaded the save state with the OpenGL backend and the issue was still there. No green goo.
