Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Get to the Tower of the Gods in Wind Waker.
  2. Open up the doorway in the middle face in the first room.
  3. Enter the room beyond, and activate the switches.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

When you place the two status down on the glowing switches, and stand on
the third switch, the platforms are supposed to begin to move.

Instead, when this is done, the right hand platform (facing the platforms)
glows once, moves a little bit up, glows once again, and stops. This means
that you can't get up without using the super hookshot cheat.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Revision 3660, Vista x64, using both x86 or x64 builds of dolphin.

Please provide any additional information below.

While you can get round this problem by cheating, the platforms later on in
the level are also broken in the same way, and at that point you are
carrying an object, so the Super Hookshot is not an option, and you are stuck.

Actually, I just checked it with x64 R3749 JITIL and the normal non JITIL build and
it works fine. I should also add that the problem existed for both dual core and
single core. I guess that doesn't matter any more though.

Hey, why you write this issue twice?

P.S. Today dolphin is 1 year!!!

I'm getting this issue at r3765. (Freshly compiled, from a save not a savestate.)

I built R3749 regular non-IL clean from source, copied only my save and enabled dual-
core, and it does not work. (I'm using regular x86 on XP32.)

I'm pretty sure this was already fixed a while ago and was caused by some floating
point configuration in MSVC's build setting, hmm...

This is an issue on the 32-bit core. I installed Windows 7 X64, ran the 64-bit core,
and there is no problems.

Has anyone made any progress with this issue? I've been looking for a solution for
quite a while now. I don't wanna have to install 64bit Vista just for this.
