Description

With how the current MacOS handles unsigned kext files, disabling the SIP protocol has been necessary to use the adapter. However, there is a command that enables the loading of unsigned kext files. "sudo nvram kext-dev-mode=1" followed by a reboot allows the kext to load without the need to disable SIP. So far I have had no problems and the adapter is being detected successfully.

That's good, I guess... But why is this submitted to the issue tracker? Is there anything in particular you want us to do?

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this, but I think the main thing to do would be to edit the Dolphin Wiki Page https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=How_to_use_the_Official_GameCube_Controller_Adapter_for_Wii_U_in_Dolphin letting people know about this workaround.

Alright, that would make sense. This issue tracker isn't really for the wiki, though. I would suggest just making an edit on that page.
