Description

Game Name?

Any game, but I'll use the Ratatouille game and Nicktoons: Globs Of Doom as examples, GameCube and Wii respectively.

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab)

GLLE78 and RUSE78, respectively.

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab, MD5 Hash: Compute)

N/A

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

I can start any cartoon game in my list. Most games have an opening cutscene (The examples don't), and you can see right there that something is up. The audio is fine, but the video itself is cut up into a whole bunch of slivers, and it's all blurry, unless you've played the game previously you'd have no idea what's going on without help from audio. I've tried the fix from a different, fixed issue for Codename Kids Next Door, but those steps (Real XFB and Texture Cache Safe) just didn't work. It hasn't always been like this for me, it started a couple months ago, but now I've had enough.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Start the game, wait for either the opening cutscene or play the game until an FMV plays.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes, in version 5.0-8596.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

Yes, in version 5.0.

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

I'm not too good with this stuff, but I know this is a slow computer. My processor is Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3540 @ 2.16GHz 2.16 GHz..?

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

Hey, I didn't see this issue earlier somehow. Have you tried disabling AA/AF enhancements? Those can cause corruption that kind of looks like this.
