Description

Game Name?

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Revision 1 and Mario Kart Wii (probably Wii games only)

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab)

RSBE01 and RMCE01

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab, MD5 Hash: Compute)

Brawl: 634d4969569b9c6d96acee169cd81f06
Mario Kart Wii: bb7f2c926cbcdee65e2a48b7002a52ea

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Wii saves are not syncing over Netplay in latest build (5.0-8771 as of now), even when Write save/SD data, Load Wii Save, and Sync Saves are checked. GameCube and Wii Virtual Console saves sync fine. Issue happened with both Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii, assuming that it happens with any Wii non-VC game. If we roll back to 5.0-8751 (which is the build we used last time it was working), Wii save will sync with no issue.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

As soon as we start Netplay with the mentioned settings (doesn't matter if Host Input Authority is on or off), when the game/save loads, it says "Possible desync detected: HOST [whether it was me or friend as host] might have desynced at frame 2820" (roughly around frame 4000 with HIA on).

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes, it is happening on 5.0-8771. 5.0-8751 does not have this issue, haven't tested builds in between.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

[Yes/No and version number here]

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz, 32 GB ram, NVidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB on driver 411.63

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

Possibly broken by this? Can you bisect to the exact build?

I don't see how it could be broken by that specific build. But yes, please bisect.

Yes. I tested Wii Netplay on 5.0.8766, save syncs correctly. When I try on 5.0-8768, that is where the issue occurs.

Oh oops, you're right. The GetTitleID method should not have been changed.
