AR and Gecko Code cheat dialog is not accessible after starting game

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
When a game is loaded, I do not have access to any of the cheats anymore and all previously applied cheats, such as widescreen codes, are disabled with no apparent GUI method of re enabling them.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Launch a game and look at the tools menu, Cheat manager exists but only reveals cheat search with no ability to add cheats or select from the pre existing list.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

If you look at the attached screenshot, you'll see Render to Main Window isn't in use. I think this issue is about the Cheat Manager not having full functionality when a game is running... Not that that's an issue I recognize.

cammelspit, your game list is empty. How are you even configuring these cheats that go away?
Please show a screenshot of these "previously applied cheats" and another screenshot of them missing from "Cheats Manager" in a recent build of dolphin.
