What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

In Luigi's Mansion the blurry effect on Mario's painting is not emulated.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Start Luigi's Mansion and play the game until you defeat the second boss in the game. You'll get a key for the garden. Go down in the fountain and head to the right. The painting with Mario in it won't have a blurry effect.

This is a known issue - it's never worked. More interestingly, we have no clue what's wrong.

The effect was kinda removed from the 3DS port.
Maybe Nintendo got a problem with it as well.
