What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Strange controller problem, the stick down is working very bad in the stage selection screen for this game. (It works ok ingame and in the other menus such as the character's screen) also works ok in this stage selection screen only. IDK what can be happening. (Using xbox one controller with zadig drivers) tested with other controllers with same result, the problem is only with this stage selection screen.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

*(misprint) also works ok in other games, (not in stage selection screen only)

Xbox One controller with Zadig drivers? Not with XInput?

Sorry. Yes, xinput. I use zadig only for the gamecube controller adapter and for the wii's original bluetooth adapter. Forget it. Xinput + xbox one controllers.

What is "working very bad" supposed to mean?

Show your input configuration. Either upload the ini file or a screenshot.

With "working very bad" I mean that it stucks, you can`t go down unless you release the stick-go down-release the stick-go down, etc. (Works fine with the direction pad)

(Input config attached)
Input config

I'll try to record a video showing the problem.

You haven't calibrated your sticks using the "Calibrate" button.

(It's the one that flashes red when you move your sticks)

You're essentially sending values that would not be possible on a physical GameCube controller because of the octagon shaped plastic shell (stick gate).
Some games will misbehave with this.

Here is a recording:

As you can see, when down is pressed with the left stick, it stucks, the problem happens only in this selection screen, no other games affected.

It seems calibration solves the problem but it seems the stick are now a bit slower (I don't remember this issue in older builds btw) feel free to close the issue if you want. Thanks a lot.

The sticks being slower is the correct behavior. Games like these have all kinds of crazy behaviors outside of the bounds of the plastic shell.

Tales of Symphonia speedrunners can take off the shell of the controller to run beyond max speed even. I don't think it's a legal move, but, I've seen it done.
