Description

Game Name?

[All afaik]

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Info tab)

[All afaik]

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Verify tab, Verify Integrity button)

[All afaik]

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

[If you go into netplay and increase the buffer, then decrease it, it won't decrease, but will just stay at the highest value it was set to]

What steps will reproduce the problem?

[Start a netplay, then increase the buffer size, then decrease it]

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

[5.0 10836]

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

[idfk]

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

[well it's netplay so there's 2 people, but my cpu is an i6 6600, 1060 6gb, and windows 10 64 bit]

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

[Anything else here]

@Charlie59876 How have you determined that the buffer size is not decreasing? Does the value not go down in the UI? Do you have to start a game? We need reproduction steps.

It changes in the ui, but in game the buffer size is still what it was set tl previously. If you set it to say 99 then to 1, there's a massive delay in the game

Also are you playing with someone? I don't think the buffer does anything if your playing single player

Well it doesn't happen in Mario Kart Double Dash.

You aren't giving very good reproduction steps.

Which game?
How many players?
One controller per player?
GameCube controller or Wii Remote?
Internet, LAN, Same computer?
Change the buffer in game or before starting the game?
