[macOS] Freeze on changing any configuration setting

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Upon changing any setting in the settings UI, Dolphin freezes and needs to be force quit.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Open Dolphin.
- Open the Settings window.
- Change any setting.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Yes. Latest development version at the time of writing is 5.0-10906.
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
No.
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

Hmm, didn't have any freezes when changing Settings on macMini 2010, macMini 2012 (macOS 10.4.6) or macMini 2018 (macOS 10.4.6)...

Strange, even on the most recent version (5.0-10912) I still get freezes as soon as I click on the Dual-Core checkbox, for instance.
iMac Late 2012 with macOS 10.14.6 here.

Still freezing. Upgrading to Catalina and updating Dolphin to 5.0-10965 still freezes on clicking any checkbox in the general configuration window.

Simply clicking on the "Controllers" icon is enough to freeze the UI indefinitely for me. Dolphin version 5.0-10979.
