Game Name?

EA Sports Active 2

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Info tab)

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Verify tab, Verify Integrity button)

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

EA Sports Active 2 plays videos as a demo for the player to properly exercise. These videos have odd vertical lines dispersed throughout the video frame.
Additionally, and possibly more importantly, selecting colors for the shirt are completely absent. Video can be seen here: (not my video, just one I found).

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Simply booting the game will illustrate these problems.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

5.0-11231, but it has also been a persistent problem for a few years.

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

Yes, Dolphin 5.0

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

Has been broken.

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here:

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]
Clothing should be rendered and not transparent. Videos should not have vertical bars in them.

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Processor: Intel Core i5 3570k
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1050ti
OS: Windows 10
(I do not believe this bug to be due to my system settings)

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

I tried disabling the default patches, that was unsuccessful.

Yeah, this happens on NVIDIA graphics cards due to rounding. There's nothing we can do about it currently, and the fix will (likely) greatly slowdown emulation once it is implemented.

Wow that was fast, thank you.

Does that rounding error apply both to the videos and the in-game sprite rendering?

No, the in-game rendering is likely a separate bug. You may wanna go through the Graphics Settings -> Hacks tab and try switching things around a bit. Particularly Store EFB Copies to Texture Only may need to be unchecked for things like custom clothing as they read from the framebuffer.

Okay, I just tried to run the game with a different computer that uses Intel integrated graphics. I can confirm that the bug still occurs without an NVIDIA GPU.

Regarding the second problem, you are correct. Unchecking the "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only" did fix the rendering of the clothing. Thank you very much.

Err... I should clarify what I just said.

The vertical line corruption in the videos is still present, even without an nvidia gpu.

The clothing rendering bug is fixed by unchecking "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only"

Sorry for the double post.
