Sounds like bounding box support is broken in your environment.

I'm not sure if that's something caused by your drivers or if Dolphin's fallback is having problems.

I am having the same problem, and it is most likely due to the large crowd at bowser's palace. I unchecked disable bounding box and it made the game look and run much better, but it still crashes.

  • Subject changed from Super Paper Mario Game Crash to Super Paper Mario - macOS bounding box support sucks.

I suggest those of you who wish to play Super Paper Mario in Dolphin to find an operating system that provides us with the means to efficiently emulate bounding box. macOS does not provide us with that opportunity, and thus the games are either incredibly slow or crash.

Can this be retested since there has been a lot of recent Bounding Box fixes

And if that doesn't work can you make sure that Vulkan is the selected Video Backend renderer
