What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
At the Sword Valley area, upon entering you have to talk to Dunban to start a cutscene to progress. After the cutscene ends, the game enters a loading screen which doesn't end.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
As far as I could tell, the issue is unavoidable. Talking to Dunban leads to this no matter what.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Dolphin 5.0-11898
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Yes, 5.0
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

GPU: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (PNY)
RAM: 32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
Attached is the save file right next to the NPC where the issue lies.

Something we probably need to check is if you're savefile is in a state of breaking the game itself. Whether it be because of cheatcodes or doing things in an order that the game didn't expect. The last time I investigated an issue like this, the savefile crashed on console as well.

I can't use your savefile to even test on Wii or Dolphin, because it's not the whole savefile. Please export Wii savefile using the context menu when right clicking the game in the gamelist.

Apologies, this should work then.
Updated by JMC4789 about 5 years ago
Yeah, I thought the file you sent would work, but the game rejected it. Will test this.

Alright, if you need or if it'd help I can also send the save state, which should be in the same exact spot.

I talked to the guy, it went to a long loading screen, and then continued.
Do you by chance have vsync on?
Updated by pikminiac92 about 5 years ago
Nope, I have Vsync turned off. I tried to do it both with and without it on and both did the same thing.

Can you go into the Game Properties page, go to the verify tab and verify your disc? It does not match my verified dump.
Updated by pikminiac92 about 5 years ago
Verifying it crashes Dolphin unless I untick the Redump.org Status check. So I can't get anything with that but

Those warnings suggest that your dump my be incomplete or incorrect. I suggest redumping your disc.

- Status changed from New to Invalid
Closing, unless this can be shown to happen when using a good dump.
Updated by pikminiac92 about 5 years ago
Alright, I'll definitely do that then. Thank you for the quick help.

If you redump it and get a disc that doesn't show any errors and this is still happening, I'll happily reopen the issue so we can continue to investigate.
