Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Compress a wii game.
  2. Decompress it.
  3. Look at the file size.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the full fledged 4.37gb iso, but I get a not working gcm at
360mb.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3908 on windows xp 32bit

Please provide any additional information below.
The game was trauma center: second opinion, and I have no other games
available as of now to test decompression

why would you compress it and then decompress it?

I'd decompress it as compressed version of the games do not work on the wii.

decompressed iso does have all the correct files, seems to leave out the padding

hmm, maybe instead of compressing isos, it could just trim it and leave it as a .iso
kinda like how wiiscrubber does it. That way, you could still burn the trimmed isos
and make it work on a real wii.

actually before it's compressed the iso's are scrubbed

so skip the compression part and leave the final output as iso so that it is
universally compatible with the wii and dolphin?

Not going to happen. I'm not comfortable at all with the (irreversible) changes
wiiscrubber makes to disk images when "trimming"

So your solution to decompression being broke is to not compress at all? ...

Would be nice if people who have commented could post back the build of dolphin they
use.

I suspect it's some error with dolphin's compressor and large files...remember it was
originally made for gc images, and I barely changed the actual compressor at all; I
just stacked on a wii disc scrubber.

the description says 3908 32 bit. I see what your talking about godisgovernment.
Sorry for being such an idiot requesting to just trim the iso. I was wrong. Please
fix the decompressor =)
