Description

Game Name?

[Amazon Instant Prime (LOVEFiLM)]

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Info tab)

[HCWPWD]

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Verify tab, Verify Integrity button)

[c43655fbf736c6f63b0f23af88561b9b]

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

[When using D3DD11/12, if using the Wii menu, the LOVEFiLM specific Amazon Instant Prime banner will display incorrectly. Note that this doesn't happen with the halfway Amazon/LOVEFiLM, or completely Amazon Instant Prime banner. Aswell as this, MMU isn't automatically enabled for LOVEFiLM, causing it to blackscreen with opcode errors if not manually set. I also tested The US Amazon Instant Prime, which in the wiki says it already changes to MMU automatically, and it had the same issue. Checked the Github game INI settings, and the Game ID that Amazon Instant Prime had for the US version doesn't exist under it, so could be a false report on the wiki]

What steps will reproduce the problem?

[Choose D3DD11/12, load menu, choose LOVEFiLM, banner issue. Load LOVEFiLM/Amazon Instant Prime without manually setting MMU, black screen.]

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

[5.0-12348]

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

[Yes/No and version number here]

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

[AMD E1-7010, AMD Radeon R2 Graphics, Windows]

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

IF you boot a title from the System Menu, the System Menu's defaults will be used for "at-boot" settings. We cannot change MMU once emulation has started.

Sorry about the system menu, didn't know that. Does that also apply to when its booted directly from the gameslist, since the mmu issue happens there too

The D3D11/12 banner issue appears to be a depth issue of some kind. I tried to look into it and I honestly don't know. We could add a fifolog to fifoci and see what happens.

  • Subject changed from Banner issue (D3DD11/12)+MMU to Amazon Instant Prime [LOVEFiLM] - Channel Display Issues on Wii System Menu.

Please record a 3 frame fifolog of the issue. Thanks.
