What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Dolphin stops frame dumping after 1040 frames if FFV1 is enabled. It looks like it's still dumping, but the file size doesn't increase. The console also shows some ffmpeg errors.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Video > Advanced > Enable FFV1
  2. Boot any game
  3. Start frame dumping and wait at least 1041 frames (about 17 seconds @ 60 FPS)
  4. Stop frame dumping and play framedump0.avi, it will only be 17 seconds long

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Tested in 5.0-12481 dev build on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS (compiled from source on Ubuntu)

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

Not tested

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

[First broken version number here (if applicable)]

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Intel Core i7-9750H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q, Windows 10 Pro build 19041 / Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

I have attached a screenshot of the ffmpeg errors on Ubuntu

UPDATE: I tried the same process on the latest beta build (5.0-12247) and it dumps FFV1 without issues.

Everything seems to be working now, I was able to dump a 10 minute video without issue.
