What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

When selecting a region or going to Wii Mail, pops up an error on the screen "Unable to connect to the internet.", this occur on Everybody Votes Channel.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Starting the Everybody Votes Channel for the first time will reproduce the problem.
