Wii Sports resort pickup game B button not working

When playing Wii Sports Resort pickup game, pressing B does not work. Problem is not associated with the whole game, as it works in other gamemodes such as 3 point contest, only seems to be in pickup game.
Open Wii Sports Resort, press AB to open up menu, go into basketball>pickup game, play game, pass to someone, and then it will not allow you to press B to shoot.

Unable to reproduce. Can you provide further information on your setup? What kind of controller were you using exactly, what Wii remote emulation mode, etc.

Bisect the issue. Do you have those issue with Dolphin 5.0.
If you do not have the issue with 5.0 find which revision started the problem(Bisect).

I have an Integrated Wii Motion Plus, and have been able to replicate it. The issue only happens if "Enable Speaker Data" is disabled in the settings.
