Inputs not registering inside Dolphin, although the controller does appear in the list of available input devices. Controller works normally in other apps (such as OpenEmu).
What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Reproduction steps here]
Connect dualshock 4 controller to mac m1 and try to use it
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Unknown, Mac binaries are not available for latest development version
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Yes, latest beta version 5.0-13603
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
[First broken version number here (if applicable)]
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
[PC specs here]
Macbook M1 Air, base model
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
[Anything else here]
I have heard rumors that Rosetta 2, the translation service for Intel apps to run on the new M1 Macs, can cause issues with controller inputs. However, the controller is working as expected in OpenEmu, and that is still running under Rosetta 2. Unknown whether this rumor holds any weight

My official Dualshock 4 controller works fine for both GC and Wii games on my M1 MacBook Pro.
Are you sure you have selected the correct controller from the device drop down menu?

Thanks, that gave me some hope. I tried some more stuff and it started working after plugging it into USB, I was able to setup the controller, and then after it's setup it continues to work via bluetooth. So it's only the initial setup that doesn't work via bluetooth. Also the rumble doesn't work. But yay, it works now, thank you, and I'll leave it up to you whether to close this issue

I would expect this to be irrelevant with the IOKit backend now removed. SDL hopefully works fine?
