What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

I paused the game using the In-game pause feature, and changed to my browser window. upon going back to the game, the FPS lable said 0, and no input would do anything. after 5 minutes i closed the game. upon reopening the game, about 8 of my previous saves were undone, setting my progress back by a lot. (it did NOT completely delete my saves though)

What steps will reproduce the problem?

turn Pause on focus lost off, boot up the game, start any stage, press start, leave the window and open anything else. (randomly happens, this is the second time)
