What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
Game will boot normally, but pops up with message about an unknown opcode error, sometimes it lets me continue playing, other times it crashes entirely. Seems to be absolutely random when it pops up, sometimes it happens during the title screen, sometimes during the character select, and sometimes it doesn't pop up at all.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Launch the game, wait a bit, and play to the character select screen, if it doesn't show up by the time you start a match, restart, sooner or later it should pop up.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Yes 5.0-13827
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
No 5.0
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
[First broken version number here (if applicable)]
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
i5-6600k
GTX 1070
Windows 10
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
Attached 4 screenshots of both error incidents.
Unsure if graphical backend plays a part in the error, tried Vulkan and Direct3D 12 and the error still seems to occur.

Does it still happen if you turn off Dual Core?
Updated by waspennator almost 4 years ago
Tried testing with dual core off to see if it still happens, but due to how random it is to get it to trigger, it's kinda hard to tell cause it hasn't popped up at all yet. I've had this happen a few times before I took the screenshots, I just dunno how to get it to consistently trigger.
