The game regularly crashes with an "Unknown Pointer 0✕01800000 PC 0✕80368e60 LR 0✕80337c60" error.

Alright, that's one important thing down. What happens if you turn full MMU emulation on? In options -> Configuration -> Advanced.

It looks like the game is running out of RAM for some reason. I know this game could crash on console, but it shouldn't be getting unknown pointers in Dolphin regardless. And obviously it doesn't crash every 15 minutes on console.
