What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
At random points during gameplay, the game will simply freeze. No errors or pop-ups, and Dolphin emulation continues to run. This has happened during running, combat, in-game cutscenes, etc., and while there is no exact point in the game where it happens, it always happens within the first 20 minutes or so of gameplay.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I start playing a new game, and it will freeze at some point, usually very early on (such as when you first meet Brad), the furthest I have gotten before freezing was after completing the gemstone puzzle at the gate to city hall (less than 20 minutes into the game). I suspect the issue is GPU related as this does not happen on my other Windows PC, but I have tried all possible backends with this machine (OpenGL, D3D 11 and 12, Vulkan) and the problem persists with all of them.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Yes, 5.0-14344
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Yes, 5.0
If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)
[First broken version number here (if applicable)]
If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
Intel Core(TM) i9-10900KF CPU @ 3.70GHz, Nvidia RTX 3080, Windows 10, 64GB RAM
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
Not sure what else I can include to help you at this point but I'm happy to help troubleshoot further if you provide instructions.

GLE003 doesn't sound like a real GameID. Can you please double check that.

Let me know if there are any settings I should test. It usually doesn't take very long at all to encounter the issue.

Make sure Single Core is off for this particular game.

Yeah, if I don't have Enable Dual Core checked for this game, it freezes 100% of the time after the very first room change, but I saw that this has already been documented.

You can try messing with the emulated CPU clock.

This certainly seems to be on the right track. I boosted the emulated CPU clock and discovered that I could get longer gameplay sessions before freezing. I increased it to the maximum (400%) and actually thought the issue might be resolved, but I eventually got a freeze after about an hour.

Update on this: Currently running the 5.0-14790 build, and while RE3 still crashes regularly as described in my original post, I'm being presented with some actual error messages now that will hopefully be of use.
When using Direct 3D 11/12 backends, after a short while of gameplay I receive a pop-up message saying "Failed to create 640x480x1 D3D backing texture" and buttons for "OK" and "Ignore for this session". Regardless of which one I choose, the emulation is continuing to run in a window however there's no picture/sound at all. I can press ESC to stop emulation, but I have to restart Dolphin in order to get the game running again.
If I switch the backend to Vulkan, the problem is exactly the same however the pop-up message reads "Failed to submit command buffer".
Is there anything I should try or any additional information that might be of use to a developer?

- Status changed from New to Duplicate
This is now fixed in Single Core by 5.0-15579 but for some reason it's missing on the download's page.
Rest of the issue gets rolled into the "dualcore sucks ass" issue.
