High chance of soft locking / getting stuck on a black screen when selecting any minigame from the main map, in either Story or Minigame mode.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Start game, navigate towards main level map, select any glowing building and try to start a minigame (see video).

Yes, game has never worked according to forum thread / Dolphin wiki (but is not logged on the issue tracker)

Worked on first attempt going into the minigame, soft-locked when exiting and re-entering same minigame.

The issue does not occur when Dual Core is disabled, everything works fine. Guess the game needs a default config set up?

This is not fixed.
Game still crashes for me on the latest (5.0-14738) even with all defaults and renaming "Dolphin Emulator" in my documents folder

It is forcing single core currently.
I tried manually forcing single core from the general config too and the game is still hanging for me.

I have a log with the new default settings(single core in gameini) which doesn't work. I left it run for a few minutes after it went to 0 FPS
I have a log with it working(single core and forced CPU clock override to a low amount)
It's the same area of the game, loading the same minigame.

Looks like a typical interrupt timing issue. I can't do anything beyond touch the INI.

Yeah, we claim to have fixed the hang when starting up Story Mode levels in 5.0-14733, but they are still hanging for me under 5.0-14746.

Under-clocking the CPU to 50% got it working, though it was still hanging with 90% or 70%.
