Description
Wii Motion Plus (Built In) Not Connecting with MayFlash DolphinBar FW 0x9.
The Wiimote will sync once but the next time it tries to connect it wont.
Regular WiiMotes work fine. Using "Use Real Wiimote" in control settings.
This used to work but im not sure when or where it broke.

Just as a heads up, I'm not prepared to keep this issue open long term without a bisect. It requires having particular hardware and might be specific to your situation.

I also have the DolphinBar and a Wiimote Plus (the built-in thing...)
I'll re-plug the bar and re-sync my controller and have a look...

Also... What do you mean by "Next time"?
Dolphinbar doesn't remember the wiimote and requires it to be resynced anytime the wiimote powers off. sometimes dolphinbar doesn't want to sync with it at all. works fine with a firstgen wiimote.

First thing first:
I did not manage to reproduce the bug at all using versions 5.0-14647 and 5.0-14746. I don't think this has anything to do with Dolphin.
I checked the "Continuous Scanning" box in the "Controllers" tab of the Settings Menu, in case this helps... You can read this (https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/configuring-controllers/#Real_Wii_Remote) to see whether there is some helpful information... I'm too lazy to read it right now while writing this. 😅

I have no problem here, most of the time...
Here's how I set my things:
- Plug the DolphingBar on a reliable USB port.
- Turn the DolphingBar on. (Left switch) ... Wait for your OS to detect the device. (Windows 10 plays a SFX on my PC.)
- Double-check whether the DolphinBar is set to Mode #4
- Press the sync button on the DolphinBar.
- Press/hold (I still have no idea. 😅) the sync button on your Wiimote (open the battery cover and press the red button until the first blue LED is solid, meaning the Wiimote is registered as Controller #1 on the DolphinBar. This is weird, but the "SYNC" led on the DolphinBar might keep flashing for a while, but it will turn solid too at some point.
- Launch Dolphin and check in the "Controller" menu whether the "Emulate the Wii's Bluetooth adapter" radio box is checked and the "Wii Remote 1" is attributed to "Real Wii Remote".
- Check "Continuous Scanning" just to be sure. 😅
- Launch a game and have fun.
- When you're done, close Dolphin and switch the DolphinBar off. This will also switch the Wiimote off, which is awesome.
As far as I know, you only need to repeat these steps if you sync your Wiimote with another device like a real Wii. Maybe using "Controler 1" with different Wiimotes can break this, but I don't know because I always use my golden Wiimote+PlusThingy.

Might just be me but it wants me to resync the remote every time. I don't use it on anything other than dolphin. One day it just didn't want to connect. Could possibly be a Windows insider beta issue

I don't know, but I know that even public and stable updates for Windows 10 are known to break things, even for gamers... 😐

this seems to be a windows issue plain and simple. cant even get my onboard tuf-gaming-x570-plus-wi-fi BT to work with it. connects once then never wants to connect again.
