EPISODE 5.0-14829: THE UNALIGNED MENACE
After the great victory and supposed destruction of the empire at the hands of the Twin CP-Access cannons installed on the latest rebel ships, the galaxy seemed to be finally at peace. However, that peace bred complacency and the empire used that opportunity to hide in the shadows and rebuild. Despite being dealt an incredible blow by the Twin CP-Access cannons and losing the RS3-DeathStar, efforts to rebuild the weapon began in the background while developers were focused on repairing the damage done by uncached writes to the planet of "Majora."
The Planet of "Majora" had seen great strides in recent builds and new levels of accuracy had been achieved. The peaceful Galaxy was thriving, but little did they know that the Empire had pooled together all of its resources for one final push. the RL-Death Star had unveiled itself, combining the remnants of the RS3-Death Star with a prototype Death Star that dates back to the earliest days of the empire.
With construction on the RL-Death Star nearly complete, developers were forced to pull their efforts away from other planets and again suit up to fight the empire. If they fail and the RL-Death Star becomes fully operational, countless planets may be destroyed with it's "Reversion Cannon". Will developers be able to stop this second Death Star before it threatens all of the galaxy? Only time will tell...
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Suit up and attempt to make your run on the RL-Death Star in Rogue Squadron 2. Note that the RL-Death Star is able to cut out all radio communication, meaning that you won't get any audio from your fellow pilots. Thankfully the walkman supplied to each pilot does work, so music will still play. If you're using a Rogue Squadron 3 class ship, you will not even be able to get into your ship before their sabotage hits you. A damage report is included below.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
The RL-Death Star was first known to be operational in 5.0-14829, and was not operational in 5.0-14823
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
The RL-Death Star was not a threat in the distant past.
What are your Rebel Ship's specifications? (Engine, R2 Unit, Main Weapon)
X-Wing i7-6700K, R2D1070, Main Cannon W10 with Lock-on Capabilities
Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)
Damage Report from the RS3 Class Ship is included.

Not the uncached unaligned writes themselves, but some of the prep work which went into it.
