What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

When starting up the game when using any of the graphical backends except for the software renderer, it will briefly display a noticeable purple bar before transitioning to the start screen. With Dualcore enabled it flashes after the cinematic finishes, but if you have dualcore disabled it pops up briefly before it starts.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Start the game with any backend except for software, the purple bar should pop up before the cinematic starts without dualcore or after it finishes with dualcore.

No

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Apparently it stopped working with 5.0 - 5874

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Core i5-6600K, GTX 1070, Windows 10

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,

Uploaded video of the incident in question (Tested without dualcore so purple bar should show up before the animation starts)

This can be avoided by disabling "Store XFB Copies to Texture Only".

The issue is minor enough that I'm leaning towards not forcing this setting in the default game INI.
