Description

Is not possible to connect to the online servers to play PSO online using the MacOS version of Dolphin with the "Broadband Adapter (tapserver)" setting running on an MacBook Air M1 and BigSur 11.6.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

-Using any region game of PSO EP1&2 or PSO EP3 Configure the network settings to access online server as usual (see attached image)
-Proceed to play on "Online Mode" and create a character.
-You will be prompted to fill up the Serial Key, Access Key and Password fields and register your account in the private server (instruction for all this can be found on https://schtserv.com)
-Upon connecting you will see the burst screen and a message saying "Accessing the DNS server", then shortly after, you will arrive to the online lobby screen with an error message 102 stating it cannot communicate with the server to play.

Upon inspecting the SP1 console to debug BBA issues it outputs the error:
Core/HW/EXI/BBA/TAPServer_Apple.cpp:46 E[SP1]: Couldn't connect socket (2), unable to init BBA

a new tapless solution is being developed for Dolphin which will allow easier online play with Dolphin on MacOS
https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/10564

So I'm not sure if this issue can be closed as this original method is an outdated one.
