This isn't a valid issue report, but:

Dolphin Master already has branch following. Unlike forks, instead of just hacking around the issues and letting people disable it, the issues have been getting fixed. In case you do want to disable branch following for testing purposes, you can do so by manually editing the INI files. The reason why it's not in the GUI is because there usually is no reason why you would want to disable it.
