What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

After the first door transition, a cutscene should play with Jill's narration ("September 28th. Daylight..."). With single core enabled, this cutscene never plays and the game hangs on a black screen.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Start a new game.
  2. Kill the first zombie and jump over the dumpster.
  3. A cutscene will begin. The game will start a scripted door transition after Jill runs through the alleyway.
  4. After the door transition, the game hangs on a black screen.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes - 5.0-15594. (The macOS builder was broken at the time of writing, so newer builds weren't tested.)

Yes - 5.0.

5.0-15579 (no build was sent) should fix this. It fixes it on non-macOS at least.

Talked with JMC a bit over DM. Can confirm that the game doesn't actually hang on 5.0-15594, but it takes around a minute and 30 seconds of waiting around on a black screen before the game will proceed.
