Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Plug in your joystick, make sure Windows can identify it, etc
  2. Open up Dolphin and click the Wiimote icon in the task bar
  3. Click on the drop box and click Classic Controller (this is a nice thing
to have a joystick for btw)
  4. Click Button Mapping
  5. Click on any of the buttons (in either the Wiimote or Classic Controller
box) and attempt to input joystick commands while they count down - doesn't
    work.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see joystick commands entered when I actually press them (since
nJoy can do the same thing). However, none of it actually goes thru. The
only joystick command that seems to be identifiable are (both) analog
sticks and changing the x/y axis. Proof that the plugin DOES see the
controller, but the input doesn't work.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Dolphin x64 R3971 ~ Windows 7 x64 7600

Please provide any additional information below.
Not much else to say...other than the fact that you should have more
settings in the rumble section for nJoy. :P

I personally like how lilypad does things, but epsxe's frontend is a little
easier for the newb users. :)

I have this issue both in 32-bit and 64-bit builds, with any combination of Wiimote
settings. Gamecube controls map fine with their respective plugins, Wiimote controls
do not map at all, save for analog sticks. Tested with three different USB converters
(one Gamecube, two DualShock 2).

issue exists no matter which build because it is not implemented yet

Still missing.nobody take this? It´s too old issue, xpadder not a good solution

it definately isn't, but it works. I'd personally take improvements in game
performance over it anyday

i know everyone says xpadder can be used to map controllers but these programs only
let you map one controller, and i like to play multiplayer. So to map multiple
controllers really requires native support. So i will greatly anticipate this issue
being solved

Any progress here? In games with simple conf that use the wiimote for example New
super mario bros wii it´s a must for non wiimote owners.

I think this is fixed?

Not completely fixed yet. Wiimote button config can take gamepad inputs from only one
gamepad---all other gamepads are ignored.
