What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

On macOS, if Dolphin is already running when a DualSense controller is connected via Bluetooth, most of the time, but not always, the entire OS will stop responding to all keyboard and mouse input for about 9 seconds. In my case, this includes physically locking and preventing the Force-Touch trackpad from being clicked, as well as not switching the LED on the Caps Lock key. After nine seconds, the keyboard and mouse start working again as if nothing had happened. This does not seem to occur if the controller is connected via USB-C.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Launch Dolphin on macOS.
  2. Connect a DualSense controller via Bluetooth.

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes, 5.0-16991

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

No, Dualsense controllers did not exist yet in 2016.

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

Unsure where to begin looking
